The gem show is over for another year. We had a lot of interest from the public with our faceting demonstrations and thanks to all who contributed.

By the time you get this newsletter, Jim Andrews and Wayne Sengstock will have conducted the first beginners only faceting course. As we have four machines only four people can be trained at a time. Interested beginners should put their names on the notice board so we can arrange further courses. They will be conducted on a Thursday at this stage. Also a night course will be available over a few nights for those who cannot attend the day courses. See Jim or myself for further info.
