Members of the Bribie Island Gem & Fossicking Club, together with the President & Vice-President and their partners of the North Brisbane & Caloundra Gem Clubs as well as many people from different organisations including members from the Community Arts Centre witnessed the official opening of the Club’s new workshed last Friday afternoon by our local Council member, Gary Parsons.

The new workshed facility was built to accommodate the growing need from our Silversmithers & Facetors activities. Gary said he has watched the club grow over the years from its beginnings and was full of praise for its progress, stating that our club has gone from strength to strength in the teaching of its crafts, embracing the finer points of Jewellery making.
